In my previous career, I was a software developer.  My success was achieved by my ability to listen to my clients; understand the obstacles between my clients and their end goals; envision the desired outcome; communicate in terms my clients understood;  and by my abilitiy to create feasible solutions.  Those same skills are now well honed and put to practical use as a real estate consultant.
